The Czech University of Life Sciences Prague has long focused on education and research in areas related to the bioeconomy – agriculture, forestry, the environment, sustainability of natural resources, management, informatics, technology and regional development. Thanks to this broad focus, the university actively supports the development of the bioeconomy, especially in the area of production of renewable biological resources.
In the last twenty years, the university has significantly developed its educational and research capacities. For example, a modern infrastructure has been built:
- Study and information center with a congress hall ,
- Interfaculty Center for Environmental Sciences ,
- Wood Pavilion of the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology (FLD) . In addition, several projects were implemented within the framework of the Operational Program Research and Development for Innovation, which enabled the acquisition of top-notch laboratory equipment.
